Compare the four levels
Choose A1 if you are starting
You need core sentence patterns, present-tense foundations, essential vocabulary, and guided reading. You are not yet comfortable holding a basic everyday exchange.

You can introduce yourself and understand common phrases, but longer sentences, past events, connectors, or everyday exchanges still feel limited.
See the A2 e-kitChoose B1 if you can function independently
You can talk about familiar topics and manage many travel situations, but tense contrast, pronouns, opinions, and the subjunctive need more control.
See the B1 e-kitChoose B2 if you need precision
You can follow complex discussions and interact with reasonable fluency. Your next work is advanced grammar, connectors, structure, and more exact expression.

- Check all five skills, not grammar alone.
- Choose the lower level if several foundational tasks still require translation or heavy prompting.
- Choose the higher level when the lower-level abilities are reliable across reading, listening, speaking, and writing.
